Blue eyes, blue eyes, what's the matter, matter...

Monday was a day that I had been looking forward to for quite some time. It was concert day. The artist of choice? MIKA. Although I'm not a MIKA fanatic by any means, I knew that he would be an awesome performer because of his flamboyant style and upbeat, happy music. Goodness, that was an underestimation. I know I say that a lot of things exceed my expectations, but this really did. SUCH a fun night. I guess the best way is to walk through the night with pictures. Thanks to Anna for lending me your memory card :)

During "Big Girl". That's just a small taste of some of the staging that they did. It was a little sad, though, because we were the only people in the entire theater that seemed to be having a good time. I guess going to a concert for Londoners means standing like a pole with your camera out for 3 hours. I embraced the opportunity to jump around and dance. Fun fun fun!

At one point, they had tons of giant balloons and confetti all in there air. And is there anything better than gold confetti?? Well...don't answer that.

At the end of the concert, we caught one of the giant balloons, and brought it all the way home. Yes, we took that giant thing on the tube. Surprisingly, no one even did a double-take.

As we walked out of the theater, there were some "vendors" selling these shirts for 5 pounds each. Impulse buy.

Well, I went to sleep with my head ringing, and woke up happy. Thanks for a good show, MIKA.

I guess you have to know who MIKA is to appreciate the funky outfits you all wore to the show. Annie, you look pretty conservative. But what fun!!
